Course Description:

'' Discover interactive media and learn to create a functional web site using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash. This three-week introductory intensive is for anyone wishing to learn how to create graphically rich web sites with animation and interactivity. The final project involves creating a dynamic web site. The program includes instruction, hands-on activities and supervised Mac labs.

Learn the skills you need to build your own website:

- use Photoshop tools to create layers and adjust images and colour

- understand basic grid design principles

- use Photoshop to optimize images for hte Web and integrate them into Dreamweaver or Flash

- layout web pages with Dreamweaver

- create and animate graphics with Flash

- add sound and video to your site or create a simple slideshow ...''
