The UBC Certificate in Diversity, Counselling and the Helping Relationship examines the challenges and issues encountered when working with individuals and families whose personal or cultural backgrounds differ from our own.
This 150-hour program promotes the development of diversity counselling skills and awareness and offers participants the opportunity to engage personally and professionally with topics of increasing significance in Canadian Society. Designed by experienced specialists in the field of diversity counselling, this program will benefit service providers, counsellors, educators and healthcare professionals who work and interact with diverse populations.
