'' Gain an understanding of mobile and workgroup database functionality and administration. Learn how to develop and manage standalone and server databases. Insert and retrieve data; meet enterprise standards for data availability, security, consistency and integrity. Design databases, queries, and Stored Procedures for optimal performance. New features include automating the access of remote data using proxy tables, automating tasks with schedules and events and using the debugger to prevent or solve problems.
Course Objectives :
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
Develop and manage standalone network databases
Insert data into and retrieve data from local and remote databases
Design databases, queries, and stored procedures for optimum performance
Meet enterprise standards for data availability, security, consistency, and integrity and network databases
Use proxy tables to access remote database
Automate tasks with schedules and events
Understand the common Application Programming Interfaces (ODBC, ESQL, JDBC, ADO, Open Client) in addition to the ASA general programming interface
Use the debugger for solving problems with procedures, triggers and/or events, queries and stored procedures for best performance
