'' This course is an overview of the fundamentals of accounting for financial managers. Students will apply basic principles, concepts, and ethics of accounting to the preparation, interpretation, and analysis of financial statements.

Accounting Fundamentals and Principles

Define the roles of various accounting governing bodies.
Describe the accounting equation.
Determine which traditional accounting assumptions apply to various accounting transactions.
Determine the sequence of the procedures in the accounting cycle.
