'' Whether your goal is to successfully implement RemoteWare for your organization or to increase your knowledge in order to maximize its efficiency and ease of use, this five-day course is for you. During the course we will show you how to install and set up the system for the Client and Server. You will learn how to monitor and manage system activity as well as implement the tools and techniques that increase the efficiency of system administration. We’ve allotted even more time for hands-on exercises so that you can return to your organization confident in using your new skills and abilities.


Course Objectives :
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
Overview of RemoteWare product
Configure a Microsoft SQL Server to interact with a RemoteWare Server
Install the RemoteWare Server and discuss a Cluster
Install the Managed Client components
Define who can administer various components within RemoteWare
Define resources and protocols that the Server uses to communicate
Create and define Clients using both the Custom and Template client options
Advanced Client functionality
Investigate work object event types
Create RemoteWare work objects to script communication sessions
Use work object events including EXECUTE, MAKE DIR, GET, DIRECTORY, SEND, DEL and WAIT
Set conditions for work objects
Utilize RemoteWare’s Electronic Software Distribution (ESD) capabilities
Audit the success of communication sessions
Generate reports from the RemoteWare system
Troubleshooting lab
Learn various session types
Create and assign Sessions
Investigate built-in RemoteWare variables
Define software packages using Software Manager
Initiate the installation of a software package from the client or the server
Define inventory scans using Inventory Manager
Scan for custom applications by adding them to the Software Catalog
Disuss how a RemoteWare Workstation can be used in your environment
Use Remote Control and Interactive Session
Explore the use of ECF’s and the Gen utility
Analyze business cases and state the overall goals of each
List the tasks and events required to accomplish the goals
Learn techniques to improve work object efficiency and reduce communication costs
