'' ColdFusion 8 is a Web server add-on for Windows, Linux, and Solaris that makes integrating real-time database information with your Web site as easy as adding a few new tags to your pages. In the first part of the capstone, students will learn the details needed to work with this powerful technology, and also tools that support ColdFusion development. The second half of the week, you will learn the advanced skills you need to build even more useful and efficient database-driven Web applications. We will also introduce you to powerful new features introduced in ColdFusion 8.
By the end of the class students will be able to:
Understand ColdFusion architecture and applications
Build database-driven pages with ColdFusion markup language
Harness the power of ColdFusion server
Debug ColdFusion applications
