'' Learn the new features and functionality in Open Client-Library 11. Client-Library enables you to write flexible, customized applications that communicate with Sybase SQL Server, Adaptive Server Enterprise or Open Server. Learn how to initialize the client/server environment, connect to a server, send static and dynamic requests to the server, and process the results - including normal and compute rows, text and image data, and cursors.

Course Objectives :
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
Develop your own suite of applications that speak to Adaptive Server and other Sybase Servers.
Determine the appropriate method of making client requests to servers
Create code that properly handles all possible responses returned from the server
