'' There are times at work when most of us feel that a particular situation is getting out of control. Although we recognise these situations it is sometimes difficult to understand why they occur and to take the corrective action. This course will teach you the assertiveness skills needed to deal with these situations.

The workplace can be a very stressful place and it is important that employees have the necessary skills to deal with any problems that may arise with work or colleagues. The skills learnt will help with the smooth running of the workplace and induce productive working relationships in your company.

Who should attend?

Anyone whose work role requires them to interrelate effectively with buyers, suppliers and most importantly their colleagues at work. It is a course of particular use to managers and any employees involved in any form of negotiations.

Understand what causes some situations out of your control and take the appropriate corrective action. You will find that you will work a lot more effectively with colleagues, suppliers and customers alike. You will be able to define various behaviours and an assertive process to deal with these. Your improved skills will enable you to deal with difficult people and understand body language and non-verbal messages.
