'' This course is designed for anyone who needs to sell an idea, a product or service to either internal or external buyers, or anyone who at any time (at work or socially), who may find themselves having to make a speech! It is often more effective to have a short, snappy presentation ready when you need to convince someone of your understanding of the way ahead. A picture is worth a thousand words, but it must be capable of being understood. Pictures and words together, delivered by a well-rehearsed presenter can really make an impact -- this participative course will show you how!

Who Should Attend?

Anyone who may face the challenge of presenting to and affecting an audience; people who need to communicate to achieve an objective with clarity, purpose and confidence, or to SELL a concept, products or services. The course is also ideal for those wishing to extend their training skills.

By the end of this course delegates will be able to:

Confidently deliver an effective presentation to any audience
Plan and prepare a structured presentation
Use the 3x3x3 formula for planning and delivering a presentation
Understanding the need for rehearsing -- with colleagues present
Explain issues to audiences of differing abilities
Design and use a variety of visual aids including computer driven ones
Speak with confidence and conciseness -- manage the butterflies
Be comfortable and spontaneous even at short notice
Establish a rapport with the audience and encourage them to want more
Use a proven checklist to ensure success
Topics covered include:

Identify the subject, the scope, the time available and the level of knowledge of the prospective audience. Presentation objectives
The basic structure of any presentation -- 3x3x3
The Audience’s perspective and expectations
Which visual aids will have the most impact?
Mixing colours, design and audience appeal
The use of Corel and PowerPoint presentations
Using flip-charts, white boards and other visual aids
The need to rehearse, checking out the venue, the equipment, briefing the staff
Keeping the audience entertained
Recognising and dealing with audience reactions
Voice control and pitch, awareness of body language
Preparing and giving your own presentation to the course
