Course Description:
'' This course is intended for students who want to improve their keyboarding skills or have no previous keyboarding experience. The course introduces keyboard-operating techniques, stressing the touch system, speed and accuracy, numeric keyboarding skills and formatting basic documents.
This course continues development of speed and accuracy in both straight-copy and production keyboarding. Straight-copy material includes five-minute timings. Production assignments include letters, tables, memorandums, forms and manuscripts with footnotes.
