'' This is course provides candidates with an overview of legal and moral aspects of H&S at work. The course considers the responsibilities of managers and supervisors.

This course will provide delegates with an understanding of H&S Regulations and how to apply them, a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities and the ability to prioritise and ensure effective reporting

Gained an awareness of the structure of Health & Safety Law (EC&UK) methods of enforcement and penalties for non-compliance.

Knowledge of the main Acts & Regulations in force, relevance to their workplace.

Knowledge relating to the need for and methods of effective Health & Safety management.

Gained an awareness of financial implications of accidents at work.

Gained an awareness of the meaning of ‘Hazard�and ‘Risk�and the methods of identification and assessment including COSHH, Manual Handling and Noise.

Knowledge of employers and employees responsibilities with regards to Risk.
