'' This workshop will focus on the issues that arise for organisations and managers running multiple projects that aren’t part of the same Programme, whether or not they formally recognise and manage these as a ’Portfolio’. Unlike Programmes which tend to adopt a co-ordinated approach, unrelated projects have a tendency to compete for priority and resources leading to some stakeholders being dis-satisfied when their expectations aren’t met. The workshop will identify suitable best practice from a range of established approaches such as MSP, PRINCE2, APM and others. The Parity PPM Professional workshops are designed for senior highly experienced staff. They combine expert input on advanced best practice with opportunities for delegates to share best practice from their own experience. The workshops are focused on dealing with the issues the delegates face and therefore should enable delegates to develop clear action plans as a result of the workshop, including how they could work on relevant issues.
