'' Robust business cases and project plans need to be based on the best estimates available. Experienced Project Managers however realise that estimating is often a tricky mix of science, method, art and alchemy with a bit of creativity and guesswork thrown in. This workshop will focus on how the various components can be improved on and refined for different project environments leading to better estimating practice. Just as important is then how to communicate to stakeholders where the risks and uncertainties are so that expectations can be better managed and good decisions reached. Senior and experienced project managers can then disseminate this as best-practice within their organisation The Parity PPM Professional Series workshops are designed for senior, experienced staff. They combine expert input on advanced best practice with opportunities for delegates to share best practice from their own experience. The workshops are focused on dealing with the issues the delegates face and therefore should enable delegates to develop clear action plans as a result of the workshop.
