We need it on a daily basis to run our lives, to help others, to lead people and to reach our goals.The ability to motivate ourselves and others affects our business success and the satisfaction we need from our working lives. To satisfy your needs you might have already established your goals, consciously or unconsciously, and might have taken action to achieve those goals. But what about your team members? We often make the mistake of trying to motivate others on the basis of faulty assumptions about their future behaviour. You should understand that people’s needs and the ways in which they are satisfied are much more complex than you might think. You may be observing behaviour and drawing your own conclusions from it, but do you really know what the motivating factors are? In the team environment, we are expected to achieve results, and so we require some form of motivation. ...''
