'' MySQL is an open source relational database management system (RDBMS) that uses Structured Query Language (SQL). MySQL relies on SQL for processing data within the database. This course looks at getting people started with MySQL and covers creating a database, the structure of a MySQL database and using some of the SQL commands available.
Course Objectives
This course is designed to give new users of MySQL the knowledge and skills needed to work with a MySQL database. This will include writing and using SQL.

Use the MySQL Client Program and other interfaces.

Write SQL statements to select data from a MySQL database.
