'' This 2-day course is a combination of Agile training and coaching for managers who need to understand Agile methodologies and how they can be applied to the development of enterprise software applications.



The course is designed for executives, managers, developers, business analysts, quality assurance, and individuals who require a high-level view of how an enterprise can be affected by a transition to Agile development. The course begins at the 50,000 foot, executive level and gradually increases the level of detail until, at the end, code views are presented. As such, the course provides a complete view of Agile development.



Objectives
By the end of this course, you will:

Understand the background behind Agile and Extreme Programming and the benefits of the approach to software design in an enterprise environment
Be able to compare Agile practices with conventional approaches to software development
Understand how you can achieve competitive differentiation through the use of Agile practices
Understand how to align Agile teams to the company’s product or IT strategy
Learn how to manage and track Agile projects
Know the strategies so that you can prepare and support the organization in its transition to Agile/XP Programming
Been exposed to Agile successes and failures through the use of case studies in order to speed adoption and avoid transitional pitfalls
