'' Professional Certificate in Digital Animation 06 months
The student does professional level training in Digital Animation with a Major Specialization and a Minor Specialization within the field of Animation. The student works either individually or in a team to create short animation films that will be part of his professional portfolio. The student can chose any two out of the following courses for his specialization along with the portfolio workshops.
501 Portfolio Planning: The student plans out his portfolio project in conjunction with his teachers.
521 Advanced Preproduction: The student learns professional level techniques of designing characters and environments along with advanced storyboarding. This specialization is only open to students who are fine artists
551 Advanced Digital Sculpting: The student learns advanced professional level modeling using Maya and Z-Brush.
552 Advanced Texturing: The student learns to surface objects using advance techniques to gain a professional level understanding of surfacing.
553 Advanced Rigging: The student specializes in creating advanced rigs for digital characters. The course will enable him to fit into a digital pipeline as a rigger.
554 Advanced Animation: The student undergoes intense specialization in digital character animation, animation scenes that demonstrate his ability to fit in as an animator in a professional pipeline.
556 Advanced Lighting and Rendering: Learning professional level lighting skills for production is the aim of this course. The student lights multiple scenes using various rendering systems to understand how to create beautiful CG images.
601 Portfolio Workshop: An intense workshop where the student works with a teacher as a mentor to create his own professional portfolio project using his specialization skills.
