'' The Programme emphasises four core areas in Microbiology: medical, environmental, industrial and agriculture. The curriculum is designed to equip students with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills, alongside soft skills development. Each course has a compulsory practical component to provide hands-on experience, while study visits to related agencies strengthen the understanding of applied Microbiology. The final year courses are mostly problem-based learning.
After acquiring sufficient credits, students have the opportunity to go for industrial training and undertake research studies. This gives students working experience and enhances their practical skills. The Programme also offers postgraduate training by research.
This programme is a major in Microbiology. Upon graduation, candidates will be conferred with Bachelor of Science degree. ...''
