'' The word ‘surgery�is derived from the Greek cheirourgia meaning ‘hand work� The exact art and the subtle science that is demanded from experts in this filed is clearly illustrated in the Master of Surgery offered by UM.
The programme is committed to increase future experts in the field of surgery. Students are exposed to the finer points of surgery as well as equipping them with comprehensive preparation in the fundamentals. Students will be able to improve the care of surgical patients and effectively address the demands of practicing surgeons, surgery residents, medical students, surgical patients, and the public.
