'' This course will provide you with an in-depth understanding of a number of key areas within the Airline and Airport industry. You will also study some theoretical business units applied to the aviation industry.

The National Award course consists of 4 core units:

The Aviation Industry
Health, Safety and Security
Meeting Customer Needs
Air Travel Information


And 6 optional units of which you must study 2:

E-Business for Airlines
Handling Air Passengers
Preparation for Work
Human Resources
Team Leadership
Conflict Management


If you successfully complete year 1 of the course, progression is onto year 2 in which you would study an additional selection of vocational units to achieve the National Certificate.
