This course is offered as a one-year full time programme, running for three days per week. The course runs at the HUB. Some of the units you will study include:
Health and Safety
Personal Presentation Skills
Improving your Learning
Caring for Older People
Health Emergencies
Producing a product (linked to Health & Social Care)
Basic Skills in Numeracy and Literacy and Personal and Professional Development classes are an integral part of the course.
Successful completion of all units may enable candidates to progress to the BTEC Introductory Diploma in Health and Social Care. Learners will be expected to apply through the usual application process.
