'' The Computing Skills-Level 1 course will allow you to obtain knowledge and skills in different aspects of ICT. This is a hybrid course combining the technical side, the user aspect and creative computing. You will achieve an equivalent GCSE (D - F) and a combination of E-Quals from:
City and Guilds—E-Quals
And
BTEC/Edexcel
A strong emphasis is placed on giving you a good ‘grounding�in all areas of computing. During the one year course you will undertake a host of activities aimed at developing your skills in a computing environment including:
· Maintaining, building and servicing computers.
· Using computer software (i.e. spreadsheets and databases)
· Creating Computer Graphics.
· Computer Animation.
