'' To gain this NVQ a candidate must achieve the level of competence described in the NVQ units of competence.

The units of competence contain the national occupational standards for Level 2 NVQ in Call Handling, Level 3 NVQ in Call Handling Operations, Level 3 NVQ in Supervisory Call Handling and Level 4 NVQ in Managing Call Handling.

COURSE CONTENT
Level 2 NVQ in Call Handling Operations - Scheme Code 01747 is designed for people who handle calls on a daily basis. Examples of job titles include customer agent, associate, helpdesk operator, call handler, representative, liaison officer, administrator or service desk analyst.
Candidates must complete three mandatory plus three optional units.
Level 3 NVQ in Call Handling Operations - Scheme Code 01748 is also designed for people who handle calls on a daily basis but who have more experience. Their job title may describe them as a senior advisor, operator, group leader, campaign quality advisor or senior telephonist.
Candidates must complete four mandatory plus four optional units.
Level 3 NVQ in Supervisory Call Handling - Scheme Code 01749 is at a supervisory level, for people with the job titles such as supervisor, team leader, team manager, group leader, officer, customer or contact manager, group leader, officer, customer or contact manager, telephone exchange supervisor or switchboard supervisor.
Candidates much complete four mandatory plus four optional units.
Level 4 NVQ in Managing Call Handling - Scheme Code 01750 is designed for those people with management responsibilities, such as call centre manager, operations manager, team manager, performance manager and telecommunications manager.
Candidates must complete five mandatory plus four optional units.
