'' The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply is the lead professional body in the country for this specialism.
In order to become a Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MICPS), it is necessary to pass the CIPS Graduate Diploma examinations which are contained within a further one year course leading to the award of the CIPS Graduation Diploma.
It is a condition that in order to be awarded the MCIPS that a minimum of three years experience within purchasing is demonstrated. This experience can however be gained during your period of study.
If you are in doubt as to your eligibility for the Advanced Diploma we suggest that you contact the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. The CIPS retain the authority to grant exemption from elements of the Foundation Diploma and from the Advanced Diploma examinations.
In any event we recommend you register with the Institute as a student member as soon as possible.
