'' MCSE is the Premier Certification for IT professionals who analyse the business requirements and design and implement the infrastructure for business solutions based on the Windows® platform and Windows Server® software. In order to become MCSE certified, a learner must successfully pass 7 Microsoft® Certified Professional exams. These comprise: -

4 ‘core�exams covering the fundamentals of Microsoft® networking systems
1 ‘core�Client Operating System exam covering installation and configuration of Microsoft® Windows® based clients
1 ‘core�Design exam covering designing a Windows Server® Active Directory® and net working infrastructure
1 ’elective’ exam covering specialist areas such as Microsoft® Exchange Server
