'' Cisco CallManager System Administration (CCMSA) course focuses on the basic administration of the Cisco CallManager product and the devices that register to Cisco CallManager. The course is 40% hands-on laboratory exercises that challenge the student to configure IP Phones, voice gateways, media resources such as Music on Hold, conference and transcoders as well as Call Admission Control. The course is filled with best practices such as Dial Plan development and custom feature configuration gathered from CIPT technical marketing engineers and implementers. The course also provides students with job aids and configuration guides to take on site or back to a lab environment to test deployment issue prior to deployments.

Objectives
After completing this course the student should be able to:
given the components of a Cisco IP telephony (CIPT) solution, identify and describe the CIPT architecture, hardware, and software. given an installed Cisco CallManager server, access the online administration guide to perform Moves, Adds, and Changes to IP phones, voice gateways, and Call Admission Control components of a CIPT solution. given an installed Cisco CallManager server, access the online administration guide to configure Music on Hold, conference resources, media termination points, and transcoders then allocate these resources to devices as needed. given the components of a CIPT solution, provide level one support to IP Phone users. ...''
