'' Conflict is a daily reality in the workplace. As a leader, your role is to prevent conflict from happening, reduce and resolve it when it does happen, and make the necessary structural changes so that it won’t happen again. In today’s workplace environment, the expectations are high for effective conflict management competencies. It is for this reason that the Sprott School of Business is offering the Professional Certifi cate in Conflict Management. This Program is uniquely designed to equip participants with everything necessary to skillfully and mindfully navigate their way through the fascinating and complex world of conflict management. The focus of the Sprott Professional Certificate in Conflict Management is on workplace and organizational conflict. This Program will impart knowledge, skills, techniques and tools which will enable leaders to ameliorate interpersonal working relationships, increase team and organizational effectiveness, and create and foster harmonious work environments.
By completing the Sprott Professional Certificate in Conflict Management, participants will master the following concepts and related competencies:

deepen understanding and awareness of one’s self in conflict

working through conflict between one’s self and others

third-party intervention of conflict between individuals, teams and groups

change processes for organizational or systemic conflict ...''
