This course will familiarize the student with the basic concepts and processes of risk management. Subjects include:

This course covers the selection, implementation, and monitoring of risk control techniques. Subjects include:

Non-insurance transfers
Management of risk control
Risk Finance
This course looks at the selection, implementation, and monitoring of risk financing techniques �ways in which an organization can obtain funds to pay for accidental losses that strike it. Subjects include:
A framework for risk financing
Criteria for risk financing
Technique selection
Insurance as a risk financing technique
Financing property, net income, and personnel losses
Accounting and some income tax aspects of accidental losses
Insurance pricing and selection of insurers and their representatives
Implementing risk retention �available options, including use of affiliated insurers
