A strong brand is invaluable as local and global competition intensifies day by day. Its important to spend time investing in researching, defining, and building your brand. After all your brand is the source of a promise to your consumer. Its a foundational piece in your marketing communication and one you do not want to be without.
Strategic Brand Management is a course about branding. Rather than focus on academic theory, the course takes an extremely managerial viewpoint. The course looks at all dimensions of brand management: from defining brands, brand building strategies, brand architecture and extension issues, brand repositioning. It examines the importance of building brand strategies that both enhance brand equity and endure through time. The focus ranges from small startup brands, consumer brands, government brands and B2B brands. LEARNING OBJECTIVES Participants will be able to Understand the importance of evaluating and planning brand strategies Understand appropriate theories, models and other tools to make better branding decisions.
The workshop environment will provide a forum for participants to practice the two learning objectives above. Particular emphasis will be placed upon understanding the interface between consumers and brands. One aim of the course is to make these principles transferable across any type of organization within the for-profit and not-for-profit spectrum. ...''
