Part 1: Foundation
Situational Leadership® �“The Core�provides the
fundamentals of a time-tested, behavioural model of how to best influence the performance of people. This innovative
workshop is pragmatic, flexible and offers the means for
learners to begin to impact performance results. “The Core� is an extremely flexible facilitated developmental experience. The use of DVD technology enables the participants to see it in action. The participants will learn and practice the three competencies of an effective manager or coach.

Part 2 : Application
The operative word in the name of this part is application. It takes it from the realm of concepts to the practical
application facing a manager in his dual role as manager or
coach. New behaviours are safely tested, old behaviours are
identified and adjusted if necessary �ensuring effective
application of the Situational Leadership® Model.
The two basic applications revolve around �managing and
coaching. A distinction is made for these two roles and the
Situational Leadership® model is applied to each area. In
the case of the managerial role it manifests itself primarily in effective delegation while in the role of coaching it manifests itself in building capacity to perform and affecting change.
