'' This one-day workshop will demonstrate for production designers, art directors, storyboard artists, modelmakers and illustrators how the collaborative process of previsualization uses virtual environments to explore creative ideas, plan technical solutions, and communicate a shared vision for production of narrative media.
Among the subjects covered will be the uses of various digital tools to previsualize story assets for production.
Demonstrated will be he creation of digital extensions of storyboarding, basic uses of software such as Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop to do modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering with an emphasis placed on preparing simple previs.
