Buildability should be considered at every stage of the construction process, including the construction itself, maintenance, alteration and ultimate demolition. Achieving buildability will help reduce construction costs and the likelihood of claims. It will also help to achieve compliance with the CDM Regulations and meet the requirements of the Egan report.
