'' Lean Planning is a proven team based approach to preparing and meeting realistic schedules and on-time delivery for both design phase and construction phases. The approach draws upon Lean Construction, which is the application of Manufacturing Lean Production principles to Construction.

The course outlines the key features of Lean Construction and Lean Planning and then, through a series of exercises examines how the project team can work together to achieve substantial improvements in productivity and team working.

Learning outcomes:
After the course delegates should:

Understand the principles of Lean and Lean Construction
Be able to apply the Lean Planning approach to develop collaborative plans
Be able to monitor and control progress to meet the Lean Plan
