'' The course is designed to follow Groundwater: Measurement and Monitoring to give a greater depth of information concerning site investigations.
A practical and case study led course covering site investigation for groundwater monitoring and abstraction. Borehole design, drilling methods, pumping tests and their analysis will be covered and participants will undertake analysis of data.
The requirements of the Water Resources Act 2003 will be detailed.
The course can cover the general issues or concentrate specifically on groundwater abstraction or dewatering to meet the needs of the participants.
