'' Delegates will be able to state conditions under which the passage of trains may be authorised, as published in Networkrail’s Rulebook. They will also be able to recognise the types of break referred to in the rulebook. It will enable delegates to examine a broken rail and if possible, allow trains to pass over that break at 5 m.p.h until the arrival of qualified engineering staff.
