'' This two day course is best taken by those who have already attended the Train the Trainer course with Roseann Gedye. If not then attendees need to be able to demonstrate an understanding of the learning process and be involved in facilitating regular training sessions.
Over the two days participants will examine the philosophy of training, critical aspects for effective training courses, interactive approaches, and ways to work through common training challenges. Each of these sections of the course will have a presentation component that will be recorded and evaluated. This is done so as to advance each individuals training ability.
Topics Covered The course opens with everyone giving a fifteen to twenty minute interactive session that demonstrates their philosophy of training. More information for this will be given on enrolment.
Using this shared experience, participants then examine four critical aspects of the training process:-
Needs analysis Course structure Learning resources Evaluation methods Interactivity is the key to successful training sessions. Together participants explore a number of ways to make their courses FUN! We will especially look at how to convey more complex and technical information in an engaging manner.
