Corporate responsibility, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and social impact management, are all names used to describe the processes and systems that corporations and other institutions use to manage and protect their intangible assets. This course is designed to help corporate, government and educational leaders better understand, manage, and optimise their organisation’s intangible assets.
Topics Covered
� The relationship between organisational value creation and corporate responsibility. � The art and science of sustainability, sustainable development, corporate responsibility, corporate social responsibility, and social impact management. � Global metatrends driving the movement toward sustainability. � Frameworks and mental models for understanding sustainability and corporate responsibility including The Natural Step, Natural Capitalism, Cradle-to-Cradle, and Sustainability Management Systems. � Being an effective change agent for greater corporate responsibility and principles of organisational culture change. � Enhanced risk management through corporate responsibility. � Measuring progress toward greater corporate responsibility and the creation of corporate responsibility and sustainability metrics. � Corporate responsibility reporting and communication.
This course will be interactive and workshop oriented with a high degree of practical real world examples including case studies.
