'' This is a comprehensive Short Course packed with over two years of research that goes behind the myths and legends and looks at the realities, complexities and opportunities for marketers in the ever evolving digital space. It will highlight international case histories that will stimulate and challenge the participants.

This Short Course will be presented in association with The Institute of Direct Marketing Australasia (The IDMA) and be based on material developed for the on-line programmes “Absolute Essentials of Direct Marketing�provided as a resource to 171 UK and European Universities by the IDM (U.K.) and “The Essential Certificate of Digital and Direct Marketing�launched in 2008.

Participants will be provided with a clear and demonstrable understanding of the scope, impacts challenges and issues of the digital marketing space. It will clearly back up the now widely recognised fact that “Internet commerce will starve without the expertise of direct marketers�

Topics Covered
Participants will be able to apply what they learn to their digital marketing initiatives and gain insight into the critical relevance of their organisation’s customer relationship management and the impacts on their prospects and customers.

They will gain a broader understanding of digital marketing issues and be better equipped to identify their competitive advantages.
They will be better able to gain greater clarity when comparing vendors�offers.
Be able to provide greater clarity to management when presenting their business cases
Reduce fiscal risk by peeling back the layers of hype, enthusiasm and expectation and applying basic business pragmatism.
Clearly understand the imperative of driving knowledge and skills through the organisation by internal training initiatives to ensure improved rapid response in a customer driven landscape.
