'' Microsofts programming language C# and programming framework .NET are quickly gaining popularity among software developers due to high productivity, compared to older languages and tools. This course provides in-depth information about C# and .NET, which will enable you to quickly start developing programs in the new environment. It provides a comprehensive comparison between C#/.NET and other popular programming languages and frameworks to help leverage your current knowledge. Throughout the course, a number of examples will be given and exercises undertaken to enable you to gain the knowledge required to develop C#/.NET programs. The course also provides an overview of .NET library, including parts which are not covered in detail in the course, to serve as a starting point for future learning. You will need to bring your own laptop.
Who should attend? This course is intended for people who have previous programming experience and are familiar with basic programming terminology and methods.
Learning outcomes By the end of this course, you will: · be able to create simple programs in C#/.NET · have a sufficient understanding of the .NET programming framework to easily continue self-learning · have a grasp of the .NET library to be able to find required components · have greatly improved your programming productivity.
