'' This series of Practical Leadership Skills courses is designed to provide you with the concepts, tools and techniques to enable you to be a more effective leader of your team. The programme takes an experiential approach to learning - a variety of learning methods including self-assessment, interactive exercises, videos, case studies, and simulations are used throughout. This series provides an integrated and comprehensive leadership programme.

Course description
Getting things done through others is never easy. To lead a team successfully requires good communication skills and an understanding of people’s behaviour. This course is designed to provide those skills.

Who should attend?
The course will benefit managers and team leaders who want to increase their understanding of their own leadership style and of people’s behaviour in teams.

Learning outcomes
By the end of this course, you will:
- understand the influence of group dynamics on people’s behaviour in teams
- have a comprehensive understanding of different Myers Briggs personality types and have received in-depth feedback on your own type
- have practised and received feedback on a range of communication skills.

- Discussion of personality preferences using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and in-depth personal feedback
