Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online/Live | On-site/In-house | Blended | Self-paced
Course Description:
'' This new workshop is designed to follow on from the introduction course 鈥淐reating a Balanced Scorecard and a Performance Management Framework鈥?to look at how we turn our performance data into relevant insights. In a practical workshop, delivered by world-leading expert Bernard Marr, we will look at how to better report and analyse performance measures to inform decision making and learning in our organisations. This interactive workshop will provide practical tools and advice on best practice performance reporting, evidence-based management, practical data analysis tools and the latest insights into information visualisation and dashboard design, as well as on leveraging performance management and business intelligence software applications to bring performance management to life.
Performance management and performance measurement initiatives such as balanced scorecards are widely used and implemented, providing organisations with ever increasing amounts of performance data. However, as organisations now see their information stocks snowballing and as the amount of performance data grows, so too does the need to use this information in a way that can add value. Many organisations seem to spend the majority of their time and efforts on collecting and reporting data and not enough time on extracting valuable and actionable insights from it.
Leading organisations are doing much more than just collecting and storing data and information in large quantities. They are using the latest performance management analytics and reporting techniques enabling them to extract maximum value and competitive advantage from their data and information.
The aim of this interactive workshop is to provide tools and guidelines on how to apply evidence-based management, performance analytics and best-practice performance reporting. Using practical examples and clear step-by-step illustrations, delegates will learn how to apply best practice performance management analytics and performance reporting to turn data into value-added information and knowledge that guides decision-making. The workshop covers qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques including Six Sigma and control charts, the latest insights from data communication including best practice design for graphs and tables, and will enable delegates to understand the benefits of performance management and business intelligence software applications.
No prior data analysis skills are required as this workshop is designed for anybody wanting to ensure the performance data in their organisation is used to add real value. The material covered in this workshop is rarely taught in the context of performance management but is so essential to the meaningful usage and communication of performance data. 鈥淯sing Balanced Scorecard and Performance Measures to Drive Organisational Success鈥?is designed, delivered and constantly updated by the Advanced Performance Institute, which ensures that participants will get the latest insights based on a wealth of real life implementation experience.
