Course Description:
'' Intended for beginners, this course presents an introduction to jewelry creation using fine silver. Through a series of projects, students learn methods of drilling, sawing metal shapes, filing, soldering, and finishing to complete their projects without the use of wax or special casting procedures. Instruction also covers how to make tubing, how to set stones, and how to make a bezel setting for a Cabochon. For their final class project, students create one of the following: ring, pendant, pin, or earrings. ...''
