'' Perception guides our every conscious action. Through a combination of lecture, discussion, and weekly drawing and sculptural exercises, this course investigates the way the brain sees and depicts space and dimension. Assignments are designed to help students navigate creative impulses and develop pictorial skills. Topics include the differences between left and right brain, utilizing imagination and memory, and finding unity. The goal is for students to experiment with the artistic implications of perception and move toward a newfound clarity of their own artistic instincts and experiences. ...''
