'' This intermediate-level project-oriented course focuses on the efficient development of production-quality applications by leveraging a mature application development framework. Students use Rockford Lhotka’s CSLA Application Development Framework, a mature and flexible architecture that may be freely accessed by them in their own development. Using this existing framework allows for focus on the application-related aspects of development, rather than getting bogged down in the details of generating a custom application infrastructure. Students design and build their own small production-quality application, including a Microsoft SQL Server database, business object tier, and both Windows and browser-based user interfaces. The resulting application should be suitable for showcasing development skills to prospective clients/employers and provides a well-architected application upon which to base future projects. ...''
