'' Entrepreneurs are at the heart and soul of every successful business that began from nothing. This series of five online self-study modules surveys key facets of entrepreneurship, including defining what an entrepreneur is in today’s economy, and highlights the various steps in the entrepreneurial process. The series consists of the following five self-study, self-paced modules, each requiring approximately 2.5-3.0 hours of study time which includes performance assessment and review of Knowledge Review questions, Q&A, and Quiz: The Entrepreneur, Spotting Trends and Recognizing Opportunity, Entry Strategies, New Product Development: The Tools, and New Product Development: The Process. The series is adapted from the teachings of Dr. Alan Carsrud, PhD, Director of Center for Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Florida International University. ...''
