'' This course covers the skills and knowledge to design and produce a simple garment. You will be able to design a garment, prepare for garment production, produce a garment and complete the production process.
COURSE CONTENT The course applies to the design, planning and production of a simple garment. The production of the garment may involve the use of domestic sewing machines and over locker. Designs may involve modification of existing blocks or patterns. Garments may include accessories, straight seamed or draw string skirts, T-shirts, smock dress or other garments requiring a small range of sewing techniques. ...''
