Transmission process of money. Post Keynesian development in the theory of consumption, investment. Role of finance investment analysis. 3. General equilibrium system. Analysis of forces affecting general equilibrium system. UNIT - II 1. Financial and real assets. Market and financial intermediation. Growth and Financial Policy. 2. Recent development in the theory of demand for money and money supply. Empirical evidences. UNIT - III Some leading issues in macro economics : (a) Inflation and unemployment trade off. (b) Balance of Payments and adjustment mechanisms. (c) International monetary system. UNIT - IV 1. Structure of monetary and fiscal policies, target, indicator, goals controversies. Empirical results on policy. Monetary policy in an open economy. 2. Macro Economic System of India. Its working and policy issues Monetary and fiscal changes in India. ...''
