Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online/Live | On-site/In-house | Blended | Self-paced
Course Description:
'' This course covers analysis, design and applications of digital integrated circuits. These circuits may include resistor-transistor logic (RTL), diode transistor logic (DTL), transistor-transistor (TTL), emitter-coupled logic (ECL), metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) gates and n-channel MOS (NMOS) logic, complementary MOS (CMOS) logic, Bipolar CMOS (BiCMOS) structures, Operational Amplifiers circuits, and interfacing circuits.
Course Objectives:
The objective of this course is to develop in the attendee the ability to analyze and design electronic circuits, analog and digital, discrete and integrated. While the application of integrated circuits is covered, emphasis is placed on transistor circuit design.
The course is constructed to:
Develop theoretical basis of Devices and Basic Circuits components with solid principles via introducing concise review of physical electronics, semiconductors and the PN junction. Develop confidence in designing and analyzing different parameters of electronic circuits such as rectifiers, amplifiers, filters and inverters Master implementing electronic devices such as diodes, MOSFET, BJT and Op Amps as basic building blocks of electronic circuits in terms of voltage response and terminal characteristics. ...''
