Course Description:

'' In one year at Vancouver Film School, Sound Design for Visual Media students learn Sound Editing, Foley, Production Sound, and Game Audio, using both Pro Tools and MAX/MSP. The Sound Design program at VFS is led by Emmy-winning Sound Designer Robert Grieve (Walk Hard, Zoolander, The Big Chill), Supervising Sound Editor on many modern film classics. Under his guidance and the mentorship of respected industry professionals, students design and produce pro-level demo reels, winning awards and the attention of employers.

VFS graduates work at top companies like Skywalker Sound, Rockstar, Blizzard, and Crytek, and have recently been credited on such blockbusters as Iron Man, Horton Hears a Who, and Enchanted and games like Gears of War 2, Mass Effect, Midnight Club, and World of Warcraft.
