'' Baby massage is a wonderful way to communicate using gentle, loving strokes, reassuring the baby of comfort and nurturing. This can also enrich the ‘bonding�with mother and father, establishing a routine which suits and benefits both baby and parent. The most natural action for a parent to do to their child is to show care and affection by giving attention and ‘Touch� The most powerful of our senses, awakening the nervous system, the muscles and stimulating circulation and the digestive system , having the effect of soothing when baby is tearful and stimulating
to assist colic.
On successful completion you will be able to introduce parents and carers to this wonderful experience of baby massage. You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver to groups and individual, giving carers and parents the confidence to safely massage their baby achieving benefits for both giver and receiver.
